**Role Overview**

We are seeking an experienced SAP consultant to join an Independent Quality Assurance (QA) team supporting a large-scale SAP S/4HANA implementation program for a leading organisation in the Oil & Gas sector in Saudi Arabia. The program is expected to run for approximately 24 months. The QA team will be engaged on a phase-wise basis to independently review and assess key deliverables produced by the System Integrator (SI) across all project stages.

**Functional Scope**

• General Ledger (incl. Universal Journal, ledger and parallel accounting design)

• Accounts Payable

• Accounts Receivable

• Credit, Collection and Dispute Management

• Document Reporting and Compliance (incl. e-invoicing / statutory reporting)

• Asset Accounting

• Financial Closing (period-end and year-end close)

• Vendor Invoice Management (VIM)

**Key Responsibilities**

• Validate the chart of accounts, ledger design and organisational structure against business and statutory requirements

• Review P2P and O2C finance integration, invoice automation (VIM) and payment / collection processes

• Assess the financial close design, reconciliation controls and compliance reporting

• Review and challenge Solution Design Documents (SDDs) for completeness, fit-to-standard alignment and adherence to SAP S/4HANA leading practices

• Conduct design assurance reviews and support Quality Gate assessments at each program milestone

• Review System Integration Testing (SIT) strategy, scripts, coverage, execution results and defect management

• Assess User Acceptance Testing (UAT) readiness, scenario coverage, business sign-off and exit criteria

• Perform data migration reviews, including mapping, load strategy, validation and reconciliation of migrated data

• Review cutover plans, rehearsals, deployment readiness and contingency/rollback arrangements

• Conduct Go-Live readiness assessments and review post-go-live hypercare and stabilisation activities

• Identify implementation risks, gaps and deviations from SAP leading practices and recommend corrective actions

• Prepare clear QA reports, findings logs and executive-level presentations for program leadership

• Engage with business stakeholders, the SI and program governance forums to drive resolution of QA findings

**Mandatory Requirements**

• Minimum 10+ years of SAP consulting experience

• Minimum 5 end-to-end SAP implementation projects

• Proven experience in at least 2 Oil & Gas industry implementations (Midstream, Downstream, Petrochemical or Energy sector)

• Strong understanding of SAP S/4HANA leading practices

• Deep hands-on expertise in SAP S/4HANA Finance (FI)

• Experience in independent quality assurance, solution reviews and implementation governance

• Strong business process knowledge with the ability to challenge solution designs

• Ability to identify implementation risks and deviations from SAP leading practices

• Excellent documentation, reporting, stakeholder management and presentation skills

**Preferred Qualifications**

• SAP S/4HANA certification in the relevant module

• Prior experience on QA / assurance engagements for large SAP programs in the GCC region

• Familiarity with SAP Activate methodology and SAP Signavio / Solution Manager / Cloud ALM

• Arabic language skills are an advantage
